We can also guide you through the process of choosing invitations, special party favors, music, photography, flowers, transportation and even setting up a spectacular fireworks show.

Myrtle Grove is the perfect site for a storybook wedding whether under a beautifully draped tent or out beside the Rose Garden, a wedding in the country can't be beat. Whatever the occasion, whether it's a reception, rehearsal dinner, cocktail party, shower, or a bridesmaids luncheon, Myrtle Grove will make it special, not only for you but for all your guests.
Family Events
Myrtle Grove is a great place for families to gather for any occasion, birthdays, anniversaries, graduation celebrations, family reunions, and holiday gatherings. Myrtle Grove becomes your home during your event. Many families gather for a memorable holiday reunion, place your gifts under the Parlor tree and return to open them by the fire after you have enjoyed a special meal prepared by the staff at Myrtle Grove.
Church Events
Myrtle Grove welcomes Sunday School classes and other groups to come out and enjoy a meal after services. Eat inside in one or more of the four dining rooms rooms or have an old fashioned “Dinner on the Grounds”.
Club and Civic Groups
Myrtle Grove is available for breakfast, lunch or dinner seven days a week for club meetings, bridge clubs, book clubs, garden clubs and civic organizations.
Fund Raising Events
Myrtle Grove has plenty of space on the grounds for large outdoor events. There is ample parking and space in several locations for tented events.
Children's Parties
Whether it is an afternoon Tea Party for proper young ladies or an outdoor event with blow-ups and rides, Myrtle Grove can make it happen. Myrtle Grove offers special menus that appeal to young and old for more relaxed events. Our PB&J's and Pigs-N-Blankets are sure to please.
Corporate Events
Myrtle Grove is always happy to work with you not only on your corporate entertaining, but with workshops, and retreats as well. When you book an event at Myrtle Grove your group will be the only group here, giving you total privacy and confidentiality. Groups may break up into smaller groups and spread throughout the house and grounds for workshops and training exercises. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon refreshments can be provided for all day events.
Christmas/Holiday Parties
Christmas at Myrtle Grove is an experience you will never forget. Though beautiful anytime of year, Myrtle Grove shines its best during the Holidays. As one guest put it, “This is what Christmas is supposed to feel like.” The Parlor's twelve foot tree is adorned with beautiful antique ornaments. The library's tree has a more rustic “hunt” theme, and the family room's “Charlie Brown” tree is laden with vintage bubble lights and ornaments that will take you back to your childhood. Fires crackling on the hearths, carols at the piano and special Holiday menus complete the mood for a perfect holiday party.
The house is decorated from the week before Thanksgiving through January 6. Reservations for Christmas events are recommended six months to a year in advance.
